An initiative was taken by the Central Region of Sri Sathya International Organisation, Sri Lanka to fulfil a much needed requirement of proper sanitation for one of the villages that was adopted under the Sathya Sai Village Integrated Program. It was identified that the people in the Kandakati village were lack proper lavatories. Hence, in view of Bhagawan’s Maha Samadhi day on 24th April 2019, as a small initiation, a lavatory was built in the Kandakati village. Furthermore, steps have been taken to construct 14 more similar lavatories and with Swami’s grace the primary work of construction have been completed.
