Kannaki

 Batticaloa

Kannaki Village which is in the Eastern Part of Sri Lanka has about 80 families and was adopted in the year 2016. The men in the family are daily waged labourers. Following are the activities conducted,

• In order to improve health, 12 toilets were constructed as the women in this region were harassed by a native community.
• Conducting monthly Narayana Seva.
• Providing sarees and other needs to 14 ladies for religious observances every year.
