Sathya Sai Village Integrated Programme

The SSIO has initiated a worldwide service project named “95 Communities", as a humble offering at the divine lotus feet of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, on his 95th year of advent falling on the 23rd of November 2020.

The goal is to adopt a minimum of 95 communities world wide, as an offering to our beloved Lord. This meritorious project aims at nurturing these communities in the long run in order to ensure sustainable human development, by meeting an array of basic needs.

The selection process of these communities for the project is carefully done based on their food& nutrition needs, value based & other educational needs, water & sanitary requirements, general health care and by factoring in the local socio-economic and socio-political situations that may vary from country to country.

The SSIO – Sri Lanka has been actively involved in Community Service Projects over three decades. A total of twenty four Villages have been adopted by SSIO – Sri Lanka thus far. Please find below the details of activities carried out under the Sri Lankan Village adoption programme.
