The Sathya Sai Medical Team from the Eastern Region conducted a medical camp in view of Swami's Avatar hood Declaration Day, at Vadamunai and Uthuchenai, on the 22nd of October 2017.

The village of Maruthankernikulam is situated 30km from the Vakarai Town in the Batticaloa District. The villagers travel by foot through heavily-forested areas to the closest access to medical care which is in Vakarai. In order to help these villagers, a medical camp was conducted in this area.

For more than 30 years, members of the Northern Region of the SSIO of Sri Lanka have conducted an annual blood drive as part of the SSIO's global blood donation program known as 'Liquid Love'. The camp, held on the 16th of September this year, gave opportunities for members of the SSIO to express their love for their fellow man through the donation of blood, and to inspire members from neighbouring communities to join hands in this great seva.

The Sathya Sai International Organisation Sri Lanka of the western and southern region took initiative to perform cataract surgeries. These surgeries were performed to those who struggle in poverty and cannot afford to buy lenses. It was recorded that 200 successful cataract surgery were carried out at the Hambantota base hospital in the month of December 2018. Currently, it has been identified that there are 3500 other patients in the waiting list to cataract surgeries whereas, the government has allocated only 150 surgeries per annum.
