 Batticaloa

This village is situated in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka, which has about 56 families was adopted in April 2013. The men in these families are daily waged labourers. Following were carried out and are still functioning:

• Weekly EHV/empowerment classes on hygiene and skill development for 30 children.
• Nutritional food is provided weekly.
• The village multipurpose building is being renovated for the children’s usage.
• Learning equipment and dresses for children are provided.
• Special bhajans and activities on Swami’s birthday.
• Tree planting campaigns.

Through these activities, vast changes in the behavioral patterns of Children can be seen.
