Karadiyankulam

 Batticaloa

Karadiyankulam Village in the Eastern Part of Sri Lanka has about 29 families and was adopted in April 2013 and the men are daily waged labourer.

The following activities were carried out:

• EHV classes are being conducted for 33 students.
• 10 bicycles were given to school children.
• Learning equipment and dresses for children were provided.
• Awareness programs on values and importance of education to parents and children.
• A small shrine was made as the route to their village temple was quite difficult to be reached.
