Bharathypuram

Bharathypuram has 85 families residing and was adopted in the year 2011. The following activities were carried out:

• Educational Assistance for 45 school children. Once a week (every Wednesday) the Youth visits children to provide help with their school subjects.
• Narayana Seva.
• Medical Camp.
• Distribution of dry rations.
• Essay & Speech competition in Human values was conducted end of 2018.
• A value-based Sports Festival was conducted.
• A temporary shed was constructed to conduct EHV classes and other classes for children.
• A bicycle was given to a school girl who had to attend school at a far distance.
• Bhajans are conducted once a week.

Through these activities, the community has begun to follow Swami’s teachings. The children had the opportunity to participate in the Easwaramma program held at the Jaffna center and the children have started to show interest in participating in bhajans. Overall, unity among the community has increased.
