Veeramunai 4th Colony

 Batticaloa

This village is in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka was adopted recently. There are 360 families and out of which 40 are widows. The main issue here is that almost all are struggling to fulfill their basic needs due to unstable income and low level of education. Families are mostly dependent on a single income or daily wages. Also, most of them rely on rainfall for farming. In order to help, the following were carried out:

• Distributed dry rations for underprivileged families.
• Health care for adults, children & widows.
• Distributed clothes for adults, children & widows.
• Distributed stationery items and exercise books.
• Looking after disable children & adults.
