With the divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre in Trincomalee conducted a Drug Awareness Programme at Zahira College on October 25, 2023. This initiative aimed to empower youth to make healthy life choices and avoid the destructive path of drug addiction, not only on the individual but on society as a whole.
The programme, titled "Promoting Healthy Life Choices", focused on instilling Human Values principles. Interactive sessions facilitated meaningful dialogues, emphasizing the devastating consequences of drug abuse on individuals and society. Students actively participated, sharing thoughts and asking questions.
A highlight of the programme was an awareness walk, where students carried placards with anti-drug messages, demonstrating their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. The school administration's support underscored the importance of collective action on this issue.
