On the 28th of December 2024, with the divine grace of our beloved Swami, Christmas was celebrated joyfully with the inmates of the Elders’ Home and the Cancer Hospice at Hanwella. The event was organized by the Young Adults of the Sathya Sai Center Colombo, with active participation from dedicated volunteers and senior members.
The day was filled with devotion and festive cheer as soulful Bhajans and Christmas carols uplifted everyone’s spirits. Gift packs were distributed to the inmates and the children of the staff, spreading joy and bringing smiles to many faces.
A special highlight of the celebration was the presence of Santa Claus, whose arrival brought immense happiness to the inmates, creating cherished memories for all. The atmosphere was one of love, service, and kindness, embodying the true spirit of Christmas.
This heartwarming project left a lasting impression on everyone involved, reminding us all of the joy found in giving and serving others during this festive season.
