As the Kataragama Medical Camp continued on 26th July 2026, members of Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Colombo, Western & Southern Region gathered in the early hours at the sacred Kataragama Main Temple for a session of devotional bhajans. As pilgrims assembled for worship, the sacred vibrations of Sai bhajans filled the surroundings with peace, devotion and unity, offering a prayerful beginning to the day's seva.
Following the bhajans, members continued rendering loving medical services to pilgrims and the local community visiting the sacred town during the Kataragama festive season. Guided by Bhagawan's teachings, every consultation and interaction became an opportunity to express love through selfless service.
During the second day of the camp, 305 individuals were lovingly served, bringing the total number served over the first two days to 581 individuals. The day's seva was humbly offered at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan with gratitude for the opportunity to serve Him in all.
"It is only by sense control and steadfastness that one can lead a happy and healthy life. Along with control of the mind, one should control the temper and avoid tension. Prevention of disease should be the goal. We should aim at a human society free from diseases."
- Sathya Sai Baba (06 February 1993)
