With the divine blessings of Sai, the Eastern region organized a Regional SSE Children's Day at Karaithivu Shanmuga Maha Vidyalayam on Sunday, 17th March 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 350 individuals, including the National Education Coordinator, regional members, children, parents, gurus, and devotees.
The event commenced with Omgar and a ceremonial inauguration, followed by devotional bhajans that filled the atmosphere with spiritual fervor. Various engaging activities were organized for children across different age groups:
Clay Work: Children in groups 1, 2, and 3 participated in clay work sessions, fostering their creativity and artistic expression. An exhibition showcasing their creations added vibrancy to the event.
Value-based Activities: Group 4 children engaged in two value-based activities, aimed at instilling noble virtues and moral principles from a young age.
Parenting and Guru Awareness Sessions: Awareness sessions on parenting and the role of gurus were conducted, emphasizing the importance of nurturing children's spiritual and moral development.
Awareness on Sri Ruthram: Participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Sri Ruthram, fostering spiritual growth and reverence.
Panel Discussion and Experience Sharing: Selected parents participated in a panel discussion, sharing insights and experiences on parenting and the spiritual upbringing of children. This interactive session provided valuable guidance and inspiration to all attendees.
Narayana Seva: As an expression of selfless service, Narayana Seva was conducted, embodying the principle of love for all beings.
Value-based Stage Programmes: Children presented inspiring and uplifting stage programmes infused with values, spreading joy and positivity.
The celebration concluded with Mangala Arathi, symbolizing the culmination of a day filled with divine blessings and spiritual growth.
