On 18 July 2026, a Pre-School Teachers' Training Programme was conducted at Sarvodaya Hall, Pungudutivu, for pre-school teachers serving the Islands Divisional Education Zone, comprising Pungudutivu, Velanai, Allaipiti, Nainativu and Delft. The programme brought together 60 participants.
The training programme was organized to strengthen the knowledge, skills and values-based approach of pre-school educators, supporting their important role in nurturing the holistic development of young children.
The sessions were facilitated by Bro. Sivaneson, Bro. (Dr.) Sivakonesan, Bro. Ramanan, and Bro. Rajagopal, who shared valuable insights and practical guidance on early childhood education and value-based learning.
The programme provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, enhance their professional competencies and reaffirm the importance of fostering human values from an early age. The initiative reflected Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's emphasis on education that develops character alongside intellect, contributing towards the holistic growth of future generations.
