Cyclone Burevi Relief Seva
In the wake of floods induced by cyclone Burevi many people of the Northern region were heavily affected. By the grace of our beloved Bhagawan, Sathya Sai Centres from the northern region took immediate steps to provide food parcels to flood victims in the villages of Arrali, Thirumalpuram, Changanai, Kantharmadam, Punithanagar, Katkovalam, Thumpalai, Gurunagar, Bommaivelli, Jammunaeari(Nallur), Mariyaman village and Ponnama village as a measure of relief.
On the 3rd and 4th of December 2020, a total of 389 breakfast packs, 1,568 Lunch packs and 541 dinner packs were distributed by the Sathya Sai Centre of Point Pedro, Sathya Sai centre of Jaffna, Sathya Sai Centre of Changanai ,Sathya Sai Centre of Manipay, Sathya Sai Centre of Jaffna (central). Apart from the above-mentioned seva, young adults from Sathya Sai Centre, Thavadi, helped to clear a fallen tree from a roof of a house occupied by an old family in response to measures taken for disaster management relief.
