When Bhagavan declared His Divine Avathar at the age of fourteen, He visualized a world of peace and happiness. It is His concern for the good of entire mankind and for the re-establishment of 'Sanathana Dharma' that He took human form.
In 1947 Bhagavan declared that His Sanathana Dharma rests on Four pillars – Sathya, Dharma, Santhi and Prema. These are the Four Primordial Principles of Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Programme, which Bhagavan launched in 1969.
Bal Vikas is not just an education for children. It is the essence of all spiritual knowledge. It is Educare for Loka Vikas.
Due to various socio-economic factors, the children in the Hanthana area are affected by sub-standard living conditions. As an example of the selfless service that Swami himself spread throughout the world, school stationaries and clothes were distributed to the SSE students of the Sathya Sai Centre of Hanthana. This program was conducted as a part of the Central Region's Christmas Celebrations, and volunteers joined the students in welcoming the New Year with the blessing of our Beloved Swami.
