A Leadership training program on the theme of Dream, Plan and Live with a Purpose was organized by the Eastern Region Coordinating Committee of the SSIO of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Sathya Sai Centre of Thamaraikerny in Batticaloa.
The objective was to motivate and empower Young Adults with the confidence required to face challenges and develop their skills and values through Sai teachings. This session was conducted by Professor Sri Kandiah (University of Southampton), who is also a recipient of The Queen of England's Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award.
With his long-standing tenure as a visiting lecturer at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in Puttaparthi, and as the Course Director of the Sathya Sai Leadership Training Program (UK), he was able to spiritually engage the minds of the 90 Sai Young Adults as well as many from the general public who participated in this program. His knowledge of Sai teachings and experiences paired beautifully with his professional mentorship and was received well by all.
