Since the year 2010, members of the Senkadagala Sai Devotional Group have conducted an annual blood drive as part of the SSIO's global blood donation program known as 'Liquid Love'. This year it was conducted on the 1st of June 2018 at the Selva Vinayagar Temple situated in the village of Panwila, in Central Sri Lanka. This camp gave opportunities for members of the SSIO to express their love for their fellow man through blood donation and to inspire members from neighboring communities to join hands in this great seva.
The strict selection process of blood donors and the causes for easy rejections is well known among many who donate blood regularly. The success of this particular camp was quite evident when 100 out of the 103 potential donors who showed up were accepted and able to donate blood. The camp was carried out with the assistance and resources of the Blood Bank at the Kandy Teaching Hospital.
