As a mark of the copious flow of selfless love of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the "Sri Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project" was initiated by the "Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation of Sri Lanka" together with "Vision of Love, UK" & the "23 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment" on 01 October 2022, for under previlege families in "Karippadamurippu" Village of Oddusuddan Divisional Secretariat in the Mullaithivu District.
In Karipaddamurippu village around 1000 civilians are living and the need for Drinking water remained a long felt requirement. To overcome this dire need the Sri Sathya Sai Drinking water project was initiated with a plant capacity of 2000 L storage capability, serving over 1000 peoples per day.
